2019 President of the Board of Alderman Primary Candidate Forum — A Special Livestream and Watch Party Event

Confirmed Candidates: Megan Ellyia Green, Jamilah Nasheed, Lewis Reed

The primary race for the President of the Board of Aldermen is a critical opportunity for citizens to shape political leadership and policy priorities for the City of St. Louis. Following up on our successful Mayoral Forum of 2017, the Social Policy and Electoral Accountability Collaborative (SPEAC) has organized a primary candidate forum that will put racial equity front-and-center, focusing on pressing regional issues including child and youth well-being, health disparities, economic opportunity, neighborhood improvement, and criminal justice.
