Saffiyah Poole, MPH, MHA

Associate Director, Clark-Fox Policy Institute

Saffiyah is a native St. Louisan who brings a wealth of experience building diverse and inclusive community engagement efforts designed to restore, transform, and cultivate equitable pathways to create and sustain better outcomes for St. Louis communities that face systemic and societal barriers. Saffiyah earned a BA in anthropology from Howard University, Master of Public Health from Saint Louis University College of Public Health and Social Justice, and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Webster University. As associate director, Saffiyah works to increase the Institute’s impact by translating research findings into equitable policy recommendations, and collaborations with policymakers, elected officials and community stakeholders. Saffiyah is also responsible for training, advising, and supervising graduate and doctoral students working with the institute to develop policy products and programming.
